The artist
Madhura Parekh
Muralist, sculptor & founder
Madhura Parekh is an Indian artist and the founder of Madhura Kala Studio. She paints large murals and makes sculpture and paintings on commission for restaurants, offices and homes.
In Sanskrit, madhura means sweet or melodious and kala means art. The name is a reminder of what the studio aims for: art that people enjoy living and working with.
Madhura handles every commission herself: the first call, the sketches, the painting on site and the final coat. On bigger projects she works with other artists, interior designers and architects.
